Summary[]
The series is about Lucious Lyon, founder & CEO of Empire Entertainment who has been diagnosed with ALS and must choose one of three sons (Andre, Jamal and Hakeem) to take over the business when he dies.
Meanwhile, his ex-wife and co-founder of Empire Entertainment, Cookie is released from prison after 17 years and is looking to reclaim her rightful place in the company.
